skip: Containers, swap bodies and trailersDB Schenker Rail runs complete trains with a fixed composition and regular frequency to destinations in such countries as Italy, Poland and the Czech Republic for various rail operations. A rail operator is comparable to a forwarding agent, which combines partial loads into full truckloads. DB Schenker Rail concludes a contract with the rail operator to run container trains, while the rail operator attempts to acquire as many containers or swap bodies as possible from shipping companies, production companies, etc., for transport aboard those trains.
